What up everyone? The C.A.R.E. Reps here at Music Dealers are going to change things up a bit in the next few months. As you know, in the past we would each choose one artist a week as our “Featured Artist of The Week”-- which was 4 artists a week total. This was great and thank you to all the artist we featured, however we wanted to have our artist featured for more than a day to allow time for readers to really get to know our artist. So we decided to take a new approach to how we do our "Featured Artist" post. Beginning next week we are each going to choose one artist a month to feature. The artist we each chose would then be featured for that entire week, which means there will only be 4 artist featured a month. This will make it much more personal and will give readers a lot more info about our great artists.
William will kick off our new format for featured artists next week. Below is a breakdown of what we will be doing for our featured artists:
Monday: Artist intro video with an intro written by the C.A.R.E. Rep
Tuesday: Artist music videos, live performances, etc.
Wednesday: Wildcard Wednesday - Up to artist and C.A.R.E. Rep to be creative and throw something together
Thursday: Interview with the artist or artist / Music Dealers interaction
Friday: C.A.R.E. Rep wrap up video and any last write-ups
This new format will involve the artist a lot more and will give them some freedom to say and post what they want. So be sure to visit the Music Dealers blog in the coming weeks and begin to get to know some of the great artist in our community.
